The Animaniacs are Back and They are Headed to Hulu!
Yakko, Wakko, and Dot are back!
Bring back the Doctor and the Nurse cause the Warner Brothers (and the Warner Sister) are back!
It's just been announced that Hulu has ordered two brand new seasons of Animaniacs!
Partnering with the original studios behind the series, Warner Bros. Animation and Amblin Television, the streaming service has given the now legendary show a two-season, straight-to-series commitment.
In addition to announcing the new series, Hulu and Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution also came to a new agreement that makes Hulu the exclusive streaming home to the complete library of all 99 episodes of the original series, as well as spinoff series “Pinky and the Brain,” “Pinky, Elmyra and the Brain,” and the complete “Tiny Toon Adventures” collection. Even original Executive Producer, Steven Spielberg is returning to welcome them back properly.
“I am so pleased and proud that ‘Animaniacs’ will have a home at Hulu,” Spielberg said. “Together with Warner Bros., we look to bring new audiences and longtime fans into this wild world of Yakko, Wakko, and Dot. I am also excited that the full library of ‘Animaniacs’ and ‘Tiny Toon Adventures’ episodes are included in the deal.”
Fans will have to wait just a little bit longer as the new series is not expected to launch until 2020. Until then, practice that theme song and get ready for belch!
